Just listened to the entire album on youtube, It went beyond my imaginations and I really do have A new found respect for Jarren, The song “Heart Attack” is my favorite because im going through that same type of situation right now, and everything he said in that song I thought of no lie. but overall it is A great album and I’m definitely going to buy it. THANKS JARREN!!!

Amazing album, I thought Jarren’s wordplay on 3-6 songs wasn’t as refined as his previous 2 projects, but creatively and musically he touched a lot of subjects with skill and production was outstanding. I’ve been a Jarren fan since before Funk Volume and I really like what he’s becoming. He’s a real hip hop cat, people who think he’s purely shock value I urge them to go look up “The Beatgods Present: Jarren Benton”, he’s been collaborating with hip-hop legends since his first released mixtape (PLUS HE BROUGHT BACK THE RACOON HAT FROM THE 80s!). Had a sort of “mainstream” appeal, but Funk Volume brings back the rhyming days and the real skills behind a mic and Jarren is definitely a hard-hitter. Really like how Jarren is expanding and having fun with his music, features were impeccable and excited for what Jarren has to bring in the future!
